Throwback to the 'Fair Art Fair Curated I' exhibition at Unit 1 Gallery

Almost a year ago, a very special project for our company began. It kicked off with a launch exhibition, which took place at Unit 1 Gallery in London. The Art Partners has worked closely with a group of very talented artists, gallerists, curators and art tech experts to develop and promote a wonderful project called Fair Art Fair. It is a new digital initiative designed exclusively for artists, collectors, curators and the art curious.

Fair Art Fair allows artists to have more control over their careers, as they can now use this digital destination to interact with collectors and curators directly without any intermediaries. The app promotes artists and encourages sales without charging a commission, instead, it facilitates a direct system where consumers can directly contact artists or studios to purchase artworks. Profits are generated by subscriptions, which are then again used to support the app’s community by funding more and more opportunities for artists, such as exhibitions, prizes and artist residencies - all the necessary things for an artist to grow and gain the required attention in the art world.

The first ‘Fair Art Fair Curated I’ live exhibition took place last year at Unit 1 Gallery. The Art Partners founder Maria Korolevskaya, together with Angeliki Kim Jonsson (founder of DYNAMISK, an independent curating and art advisory), Delphian Gallery (Artist-run nomadic gallery and arts platform), and Stacie McCormick (founder/director of Unit 1 Gallery) have worked as curators for this show. They have carefully reviewed multiple Fair Art Fair artist profiles in order to select 20 brilliant artists for this premiere group exhibition.

To remind everyone of what a special night it was, we have decided to share some photographs from the exhibition’s opening!
