+ Why The Art Partners?

Here, at The Art Partners, we are passionate about collecting, and that’s why we have created a model that addresses the distinct needs of various types of collectors.

The Art Partners founders are established collectors themselves, so customer service is central to the way we operate. We believe that a personalised approach is vital in our fast-moving, digital world where standardisation has effectively been embedded in all aspects of life and where tailored service, advice and support is a rare phenomenon. We offer our clients exclusive access to artists and artworks that meet their unique needs and desires, as well as our standard of excellence.

+ How do you charge for your services?

Our pricing is tailored to the preferences and requirements of each specific client. We will not charge you on a subscription basis for services that you may never require. We understand that some collectors may wish to appoint their own experts for matters related to collection management, shipping or insurance. However, we are always there to assist those clients who require our expertise and who wish to benefit from our extensive network of industry experts.

+ I’m a new collector. Should I buy art as an investment or just get something I like?

We strongly believe that you should appreciate the art that you buy and only purchase pieces that move you, only you! However, investment potential should never completely fade into the background. Art collecting is a pleasurable but challenging and often overwhelming journey and that is why working with a trusted art office can significantly reduce the stress and pressure all collectors face when deciding on a new purchase.

+ Is there a minimum budget you work with?

We believe that the art world has learned to adapt to the needs of different types of collectors. There are growing levels of art available for all collector budgets. However, we suggest setting a budget of 10,000 - 20,000 GBP in order to be able to purchase distinct pieces from promising emerging artists that will have long-term investment potential.

+Why Collection managment is important?

Among the many misconceptions that exist in the art industry, two are the most common - first, that you have to be a millionaire to start collecting; and second, that your collection should be a certain size before you even consider professional collection management. As your collection grows, there comes a point when it develops beyond keeping it all in your head and on scraps of paper. A point when remembering from Whom, Where, When and How you have purchased each particular piece will become challenging. Hence, you must remember one thing, even if the process of cataloguing seems daunting and not as exciting as discovering and purchasing the art itself, this process of diligently recording your acquisitions is vitally important for securing the value of your collection and saving you both money and energy later on. We are always reminding our clients about the importance of collection management and providing all the necessary guidance and assistance for its effective implementation.
